My name is Brainpasta, an interdisciplinary graphic artist. I'm a 90s kid born in Detroit who grew up on rap music and cartoons. I got into art very young because my grandmother was a cartoonist and painter. My work is driven 100% by emotion — I call it free figurative expressionism. I've been a full-time artist for about seven years now, a career with real highs and lows: I've been homeless more than once, and I've also lived in penthouses. I've shown work in multiple countries and have collectors from every inch of the planet. When I'm not painting, I design clothing from vintage, second-hand pieces because I'd rather not be a part of fast fashion. I've also been active in the digital art and NFT community since 2020.
